All our staff members are trained to a high standard and have a wealth of experience in the industry. All our operations are overseen by Steve, the company owner, to ensure we maintain the standards we set for ourselves across all our removal and storage jobs.
At the heart of our company is our founder- Steve. He handles the day-to-day running and decisions on all things related to the business. Having had family experience with haulage and removals since the 1970’s, Steve wanted to operate a full hands-on transportation service for light freight and personnel effects. This covers a broad spectrum of associated works that’s too lengthy to mention in full detail. From moving a sofa and fridge to Sunderland, transporting a car to Devon, or unloading a shipping container from Africa, we have a small dedicated team that can help.
Rowledge Transport & Light Removals is a small, friendly removal company that cares about providing a reliable and affordable removal and storage service locally in Surrey. Thanks to our range of smaller vans, we can easily cope with any access issues. If necessary, we can use these smaller vehicles to transport goods to a larger lorry before it goes to its final destination.
Based in Medstead, Alton, Rowledge Transport & Light Removals has provided removals since 1990, during which time we’ve amassed 60 years of combined experience. Our longevity in the removals industry is a testament to the quality of service we provide to our customers in Alton and Farnham and the work we’ve put in over the years to develop as a business.
We’ve established a reputation as the leading company in our community for small house removals and commercial removals alongside our car transportation services. We’ve successfully supplied smaller vehicles to deal with any access issues on a particular property. We can use this to either deliver directly or safely transfer your belongings to a larger lorry before it heads on to your chosen destination.
Besides providing speedy man and van services, we also have a yard onsite at our offices where you can make the most of storage facilities if required. While our clientele is predominantly local domestic, we are more than willing to undertake other small jobs. We can accommodate for commercial, retail and office-based customers across the country and transportation abroad in certain circumstances.
We have been transporting light vehicles for several years this can include transporting with our recovery vehicle and trailer or travelling anywhere by train and driving or delivering your vehicle.

Charged 1-way, minimum booking price: £150.00 (no vat)

Please note that we are able to transport most vehicles up to this weight but there are exceptions due to weight, length, height and accessibility.
